The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 很久没看文艺片了，这片的节奏让我想到了电影节的展映影片，影片中无花果是希望也是绝望的果实，小岛上如果那天老伯与小伙没有一起出现，那么“噪音”究竟是谁？这座薛定谔的小岛好似抽屉里有一把枪，是的，我打开了抽屉枪确实在抽屉里，那么我永远不打开那个抽屉是不是枪永远不会在抽屉里？饼哥最后10分钟演技真的无人能敌，情绪太到位了！ 另外我太爱这张的构图了 ！！

刚开始不带废话，直接干掉，然后在对峙女老大的时候磨磨唧唧被砸晕，太无语
没啥新镜头，为了第二季补一波，感觉紧凑了不少

前面尸体越来越多有点儿喜感，在反转那里结束其实挺好，之后的探监戏份跟结尾非常多余。
完全迷失焦点，开头还有点意思，小岛上来了陌生人，意外死亡，小岛居民为了隐藏尸体想尽办法，但是镇长死了开始就没意思了，剧情停滞，结尾反转更是没意思，既然发小想嫉妒男主，那为啥不开始就劝男主自首，及格分
原作漫画也是开篇优秀，可惜中途被腰斩，草草结尾，但是蕴含的优秀电影属性被找到并影视化。从本片的超豪华阵容就可以看出来制片公司还是想放开手脚大干一笔的，但是凡事都有连锁反应。导演的镜头语言非常老辣，用笔很珍惜是优点，但是对于剧本的把控能力还是存在问题，最后的反转非常莫名其妙。在请来了核心两个大咖后，又发现不能向原剧本那样拓展然后戛然而止，只得生硬的用最简单的影视剧逻辑来加一层反转，这样可以让松山研一不那么配角，毕竟花了这么多钱请来的。而这样的创作使得人物很不成功。而原漫画中的妻子也是有不少的出镜的，在电影里被弱化，结尾又拿出来，是比较失败的视角转变。总之在制片层面上如果更好的把控剧本，选出适合的演员而非纯粹搭配豪华阵容，最终的收入产出比可能更为合适一些。
人工智能进化，程序员开发的这个也挺牛，把动画版全合成起来就是电影版，有点长。
已经不指望提姆连森拍出什么花了，经典已老去，只剩好莱坞的流水线
作孽呀，无罪虽然不比95版的大部头，却也是纯酿了，沐浴更衣就给这个所谓的剧场版，钞能力也不是这样的吧
其实本来的设定和情节推进都挺好的，确实被最后的原来只是个三角恋，顿时拉低了高度。演员演技都在线的，因为看到月和L终于又共演了，怎么也得给4星。

没看过漫画、连续剧、前作直接上手，其实没太明白。
