Richard Hardy, a hardworking stockbroker, labors overtime to keep up with the ruinous bills incurred by his beautiful but irresponsible wife Edith, a venal, spoiled socialite who is impervious to his pleas for fiscal restraint. Acting on what she believes to be an insider information, she impulsively embezzles $10,000 from the Red Cross charity she chairs for a stock tip. When she finds the money has been lost, she desperately turns to a Japanese ivory trader with whom she has been thoughtlessly flirting and persuades him to replace the money in exchange for an assignation. When her husband's long-awaited business deal finally materializes, she desperately tries to withdraw from their agreement by replacing the money. Angered and disappointed with her resistance to his advances, he uses a branding device to mark her shoulder as his property. Feeling violated, Edith shoots him in the shoulder and leaves. 唐顿电影版续到“走进新时代”便是最好的结束，请不要再续了。当时代的喧嚣和嘈杂一股脑涌入原本祥和宁静的庄园，我们原本熟悉的味道正在慢慢消散；老夫人临走前那句“Stop that noise…”真是令人沉默，趋势不可阻挡，家族人来人往，如何维持往日的荣光，Mary 坚毅的脸上似乎已经写好了答案。
结局很圆满，所有角色都有了更好的归属。虽然第一部结局已经非常圆满，但是续集则做了更为圆满的结局，让每个角色都心想事成，让每对有情人都终成眷属。我认为不会有第三部电影版了，第二部的结局已经设计得非常圆满了，如果再有第三部恐怕就烂尾了。
就还好～纯粹是追情怀了！！！2011年9月开始为老夫人追唐顿，到今天因疫情没贡献票房～我真是醉了！也佩服朱利安老爷子能把这故事从剧拉到电影～也算是把情怀做到最大了！大Mags都吐槽这老太太估计得110岁了😂

舍不得老太太 无奈节奏赶的太快 求求再拍一季出来 也求求再也不要拍了 就只想看有钱人浪费时间 一点不想看阳光明媚 也不想看ta们time flies 要慢慢接受可以想见 但出乎意料的事情 就像有些苦乐不能分享 那不如自己尝 故事讲完了but Life goes on 站着看字幕走完 用心期望事不有三
只不过唐顿依旧是唐顿，历经十二载的描摹令太多角色已拥有了独一无二的灵魂，最终支撑起唐顿的不再是华丽的公室或英伦的仪态，而是每一个拥有故事的微笑，每一瞬泪眼婆娑的时刻，也正是我们赋予这座庄园的时间与青春让一切闪闪发光。
喜欢这种调调的电影，这就是平和中带着意思幽默，平和的度过每一天，很喜欢marry这个角色，承接了过去和将来。
一开篇眼泪就下来了，我宣布理想国唐家屯永远是我最爱的电视剧。

虽然这出梦幻式的帝国主义顶层贵族的夕阳无限好fairytale肥皂剧看到后面还是产生了很多感情的，但是能结婚的都结婚了，该生孩子的也都生了，休博内威利的气色都瘦脱了，就别再继续拍了吧
一场婚礼，一场葬礼，人生是珍惜每一天的时光，敢于尝试，敢于拒绝，敢爱敢恨，然后可以微笑着离开吧
有人决定奔赴异国开启新的生涯，

31/05/2022 #ACSB# A new era for sure, but there are things that will be passed on for generations and won't ever change. If you can't sell that to the Great British public than what can you sell.. And Violet had most of the punch lines.
婚姻是长篇小说，不是短篇故事。大表哥再次出来鞭尸哈哈哈，真的太喜欢女主了，这片光顾着看每个人的服饰搭配都看花眼了，婚礼葬礼到末尾的新生，肯定不如剧的质量，而且要兼顾两个地方在剪辑上也很粗暴，有几个镜头转的实在偷懒，但如果看过剧再看这部电影，对角色的感情积淀深一些，也就更感动一些。
有了六季剧和5个圣诞特别篇+一部大电影的铺垫看此片沉浸其中，所有熟悉的人物都那么生动，由于2019年看第一部电影的时候没看过剧所以观感大打折扣（看完剧后又再次看了第一部 精彩！观感提升不少），现在看了剧再看第二部大电影且在电影院看到熟悉的人物和听到熟悉的旋律（配乐）尤为感动。电影的镜头感觉有问题 大部分段落人物（脸面、皮肤）看着发黄（应该是白），如果是加了滤镜导致那真是画蛇添足另外电影看着的时候感觉在倍速 但其实没有倍速 不知道片方是不是把片子调高一倍还是只有我一个人觉得。托马斯这集戏份本来就少得可怜但还把他戏份删了一半（6分钟同志戏）。老夫人（不剧透）看到片尾的时候落了眼泪（哭）（ps：看的普通大银幕[遮幅]激光厅 影城真良心… 亮度很高 多次从室内（暗）切室外明亮的景时都会闪我眼睛一下）

以婚礼开始，以葬礼结束，中间以一段拍电影让楼下的仆人跨越阶层，盛装出席，举杯同庆，每个人都真诚对待生活，让爱消弭杂音。
婚礼对葬礼，死亡对新生。
