The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 老詹搭台，全联盟唱戏，就像是看了一场互动真人秀，我这种已经多年不看NBA的老球迷看到一个个彩蛋都兴奋不已。但是存在很多现实性问题以及人物逻辑不通，比如球探的挑人标准，Bo从业余到专业的过快适应。76人这个家族设定，老爸去世儿子乱搞，女儿先韬光养晦随后出来重整河山，巴斯家族表示你还可以写得再明显一点…
有球场，上球场比拼；没有球场，自己搭。

励志运动题材不会太难看，但是也确实不太容易拍出新意了。
天赋+训练+贵人 算篮球题材电影中比较细腻的，值得看。
很多熟面孔，nba赛场以外的画面。但确实拍得中规中矩，精彩与感人都还距离《光荣之路》很远
2.关于篮球比赛，竟然把比赛拆分成1v1单挑，垃圾话互怼，进了就是进了，没进就是没进。没任何理由，深度不足。
为什么片名要剧透？人家辛辛苦苦放了一个亚当桑德勒愁云满面的图。感谢陈老师解说，NBA春晚蛮好看的
虽然俗套，但NBA球迷的话还是会看的很开心
Netflix选择了在总决赛期间上线，既借东风蹭了一波热度，又把某湖高层的「叛逆」、「业余」与「满嘴谎言」讽刺的淋漓尽致（本来我还想说讽湖该用凯啊，怎么用76人？结果看到最后一幕我笑了）。剧情比较老套，XXX奋斗史一类，但众多大腕客串与埃尔南戈麦斯的真实球员出演还是颇具趣味性。肯尼全程跟随，J博士、博班、洛瑞、爱德华兹（虽然演的很讨厌）、翠杨、米顿、戈登、鲨鱼、里弗斯、巴克利、马克杰克逊等你方唱罢我登场，颇有演技斗牛之意味（可惜大帝没能出镜）。亚当桑德勒塑造形象依旧纯熟，不仔细看差点让我误以为这真的是费城某球探真实献艺。影片既真实再现了联盟各种角色与人物的生存现状，也直观展示了球员的各种陋习，肮脏的小动作、对新人的霸凌、喷各种垃圾话，当作花絮来看依旧妙趣横生又无比真实。作为球迷，我给4星。
依然不喜欢亚当桑德勒的大嗓门和笑声 但电影倒是比他之前的类型好看些4381
小人物成为大明星的标准剧本，天赋、汗水，以及慧眼识珠不轻易放弃的伯乐。尽管套路，不过我是真的吃这一套。街头篮球的部分非常爽快，通过流量获得选秀的机会也很有趣，训练的部分非常有升级感。只是主角最大的挫折就是受不了垃圾话，感觉挑战性有点不足。
三星半，不到四星，真的蛮好的，很舒服，这种热血追梦题材，但凡认真点水平不是太差的话，应该都蛮好看的，但这部特殊在一直都很克制，也许看热闹的会觉得，训练太冗长，最后逆袭不够华丽热血，但我倒觉得这相反是优点，更克制不洒狗血，也更偏现实一点了。没有大量的努力练习，就是天赋再惊人也不可能成功；男主，男二说到底就是底层，而且男二荒废那么长时间，怎么可能现实中逆袭新秀冠军，能挤进去就不错了，毕竟这是nba，全世界打篮球最好的一批人。另外，没想到ai这么胖了
故事套路了，但是这片绝对算制作非常精良的，拍出了nba的阶层感，中间努力那么久只能获得一个试训机会，结尾一众年轻球星的出场就特别感人。勒布朗这电影投资做得真不错，他自己还有个传记片正在筹备中。感觉勒布朗发展的好的话，兴许能造一个体育版本的迪士尼电影帝国。算是美好的期待吧，希望老詹利用自己的影响力把体育片类型提升到更高的水准。
2.5 剧本不是太成熟，没解决男一和男二之间的关系。这不是一个体育励志片，但激动人心的部分恰恰不是男一提供的，剧本的先天缺陷造成了这种结果。奈飞的电影感觉不如他们的剧集用心，很网络的感觉。感觉网络电影经常是听到一个还不错的创意，来不及或者成本原因不去更深的研究剧本。
老套的故事，但是因为有大量NBA现役球员以及街球手的加入，看着还是很热闹。顺便一提的是，演Bo的埃尔南戈麦斯刚刚被裁掉了。。。
