The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 王侯将相有种，鸿鹄之志为靶。瓦舍的鸡蛋如何武装成致命的顽石，锋利的影子怎敢觊觎聚光的照耀。越洋飞机载不动信仰之重，历史洪流容不下生命之轻，深夜的酒暖不到名利场的寒冰。膨胀的欲望直指独裁的漩涡，干瘪的枯草终究不是民主的解药。黑白是时间的血性在褪色、并不代表正义，光影是人心向背的摇摆、并不主宰浮沉。逼仄的特写经得起审视，空荡的远景不忍听回音。
剧情老套 但是看到片尾从一号到Revice所有骑士一一出现还是很感动
按东大妈这么多年的尿性，这次剧场版真的是很好的把故事说清楚，在情怀上没有刻意致敬。（托马老师别划水了哈哈哈）唯一吐槽的是为什么revice的巨大化这么丑！（虽然习惯了吧...）其实saber组是全员划水的，哈哈哈。
观感挺不错的，有几句台词我觉得可以入典了，有假面骑士的地方，恶就无法蔓延，感动

女一的热情直率确实会让人招架不住。谁能不爱热情开朗的人呢，她们就像光一样照亮你的生活，带给你温暖和希望，重新点燃生命的热情。
东映还是那么给，很多男色意味的镜头。
可能是之前剧场版看的太多了吧，都说剧情不错有创新什么的，但是即视感真的好强，尤其是这种父子啊，约定啊，因为工作抛弃亲情啊，好眼熟，而且打斗也一般，特效抠图太明显了，有几个地方甚至都怀疑是不是忘了做特效了，1.5星，太好了

再加上这部剧场版剧情也达到了中规中矩，不露细节，逻辑严密的水平，确实也值得较高的评价。
阿娜伊斯随心所欲又毫不靠谱，极致的享乐主义者，燃烧生命式的热情与恰到好处的腼腆，终究迎来年上的回应，最后被拒绝后再进一步的坚持是最大的亮点。真浪漫
现实中也如是，一味追求认可，确实体现了极高的忠诚度。然而对于上级来说，终将都是“用完即弃”的零件。对上下级关系注入太多期望和感情，注定只能是悲剧。
